My favorite Thanksgiving memory is of all my cousins, my brother and myself playing football in my grandparents front yard when we were younger.

Hey Pam! I had never visited your blog before, but I'll be coming back regularly now!! I think my favorite Thanksgiving memory is always the one of my Grandma's table. She always has it set so nice and every year she makes a different table marker for everyone. They are usually edible too! She always puts so much thought and love into setting her table for her family! Thanks for the chance to win some candy!

My favourite T-day memory is probably when my daughter was little and she got it in to her head to make place cards for everyone at the table!! She took paper and markers and hid in her room....no one was allowed in. And then she came out and put them all on the tables for everyone....she was so proud of herself. So cute!! Now she is 15 and we're lucky if we can get her to come to the table!!! Baaaaaahahaha!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

My 21st birthday (leagal drinking age in Wisconsin) was on Thanksgiving. I was sure I could find a bar that I could go into, but all I could find was a biker bar!! So, needless to say, I wasn't able to have that drink on my birthday!!
Thanks!

ooh that's a hard one! I think my fave memory is the one after my first son was born - he was less than a month old and we had a house full of family and lots of helping hands. Thanks for sharing the blog candy and Happy Thanksgiving!

My favorite memories are of the huge family dinners when I was a kid. We still have family dinners now with my hubby's family, but there's something special about 25+ people sitting around a table enjoying a good meal!

My best Thanksgiving memory was when we lived close to both sides of the family and they all came to my house, about 35 people. So the night before my husband (he's the cook) and my cousin got the turkey ready they were messing around with a knife, on the bird. and my Husband cut is thumb. So those two go the the ER, they say it's no big deal. 3 hours later they return with the news the my husband is set to have surgery on Thanksgiving morning. Long story short, He came home from the hospital and slept thur his favorite holiday. He so wanted to cook for everyone.

My favorite Thanksgiving memory was when my mom was in the hospital. My entire family came to our house, cooked Thanksgiving dinner and took it to Mom in the hospital and we all celebrated together. That's what Thanksgiving is all about for me, the love of a family. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Is blog candy going to replace pumpkin pie?!

Hmmm...a favorite memory. Probably the year that my 3 month old was posted near the turkey for a picture...and they were about the same size.

My favorite memory has to be last Thanksgiving. My High School Sweetheart and I were back together after 30+ years, we'd bought a house and had our family over for our first holiday dinner.

Thanks for the Blog candy offer. Those sayings would make the perfect addition to my growing card making stash.

When I was a teenager I had the opportuntiy to deliver fruit baskets to widows in the evening on Thanksgiving Day with a group of kids from church. It was fun watching their faces when they opened the door. Afterward, we went back to the church and had apple cider and cookies.

Wow. What a cool font. I would love to win the stamp set. Thanks for sharing all of your creativity with us. You rock. I am thankful for the love and support of a great family. The first thanksgiving I spent with my husband, then my boyfriend, I made a pumpkin pie. He got it out of the oven for me and dropped it. We had to go buy a pie to take to his mothers house!!

My very first thanksgiving over here in he US ( I'm from Denmark) was in 1990, and at my inlaw's. I'm so used to sitting at the table eating for hours like we do in Europe at big Holidays like this, and after 45 min, my mother inlaw starts to clean the table, I thought she was joking, but no she was all serious. No time to get fat at her house lol.
I still think it is so funny, I host Thanksgiving now.

My fav thanksgiving memory would be when I was younger. We would always draw names for Christmas. I loved this part because my whole family was there and it was always fun to see who we picked.

One of my favorite memories is the linen table cloth that my Grandma had us all sign each year. I thought it was so cool because as far back as I could remember all of us got to write what we are thankful for and we also signed our names. Then my Grandma would embroider all of our signatures and the following year we would do it all over again. That table cloth is such a treasure to look at and brings back such happy memories.

My favorite memories are of Thanksgivings spent with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents and all my cousins. My Grandma was never happier than she was when surrounded by family.

One fav memory is of going up north to the cottage on the lake, its so different in fall, with all the family. The leaves are colourful, coming down everywhere, air is crisp to go for walks, and the shoreline goes down to show a little beach at the lake. We'd pile up all the leaves we had to rake up, build a big 4 to 5 foot pile, and run and jump in them.

I think my favorite memory will always be this year. The day before Thanksgiving my son brought home a cute pinecone turkey from pre-school and wanted to have its picture taken with Tom the scrapbook turkey! The photos are on my blog-too cute! It made me smile and still does! Thanks for the opportunity!

First... great blog! Just found it. Congrats on being on multiple design teams!!
My fav Thanksgiving memory has to be my first time at hosting. I ran around like a crazy person for almost 2 days cleaning and prepping for dinner, was up at the crack of dawn starting the turkey only to discover at dinner time I messed up the stuffing, burned the rolls and cooked the turkey UPSIDE DOWN! We had a great time anyway. Hugs, michelle

Happy thanksgiving! One funny memory I had was when I was in college I spent Thanksgiving with friends. We decided to cook our first one together. And we made the mistake of cooking the turkey with the bag of "stuff" in the cavity. Wow, we were such idiots!! :)

My favorite memory is going to my my grandparents and after dinner all gathering around the TV to watch the Wizard of OZ we did this every year for so many years it seems odd not to have it on that day! Have a Happy and Safe Holiday!

Thanksgiving memory - favorite was probably the first one after I moved to the US. Never had seen a turkey in the oven before that! It was very interesting and new to me :) Now it's strange not to eat turkey on the special day. Thank you and Kristi for the chance to win!

Being Filipina, we don't get to celebrate Thanksgiving. :-) we celebrate Christmas though and one of my fondest memories is when I celebrated it away with my parents and siblings in a resort.

My favorite memory is just getting together the entire family. We always make way too much food, eat way too much - --but then we play board games, or if weather is nice outside. A little friendly competition is good for us!

Swamp Tulip said...

My favorite Thanksgiving memory is of Thanksgiving 1972 - it snowed about four feet - seriously - but my grandparents made the drive to our house for dinner regardless of the weather. My sister and I played outside building a tunnel and several snowmen. It was awesome.

My favorite memories of Thanksgiving are all of my aunts and cousins strategizing about the Day After Thanksgiving Day Sales...it's a big mess with sale ads, lists, maps, timing, it's all thought out! Gotta love the bargains! It's great to just be around everyone! :) Thanks for the chance to win!

Linzi Conners said...

My favorite memory of Thanksgiving is probably all of the craziness that occurs when we 'strategize' about our after Thanksgiving Day sales...it's a big production of lists, maps, locations, and timing...funny stuff, actually, but, hey, a sale is a sale, right?!

I don't really have a memory anymore, but I am always grateful for time spent with family and I'm sure the first Thanksgiving after my son was born because I was very lucky to have him and I am thankful for him everyday!!
